Haverhill: Janet H. (Mainello) Suplinskas, 79, a resident of Haverhill since 1977, died Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Lawrence General Hospital, following a brief illness.

Born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut, daughter of the late Nicholas and Hazel (Roberts) Mainello, she was educated in the local school system and graduated Hartford High School with the Class of 1958.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she excelled at creating a warm and inviting home for her family and friends to enjoy. She enjoyed crafts, square dancing as a member of the Hilltown Squares, knitting as a member of the Yarn Song Knitting Group, and dining out daily at the Early Bird Café in Plaistow.

Mrs. Suplinskas was a member of All Saints Parish of Haverhill, and the former Saint Joseph Parish, and a former longtime member of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish of Hartford.

She was predeceased by her husband of forty-six years, Dr. Raymond J. Suplinskas, Ph.D. in 2005, and will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul N. and Mary Suplinskas of Grant, Michigan, and Michael G. and Terri Suplinskas of Haverhill, a daughter, Deborah A. Suplinskas of Haverhill, four grandchildren, Megan Suplinskas, Erin (Suplinskas) Sweers and her husband Lukas, Emily (Suplinskas) Tienpasertkij and her husband Paramintr, and Kailey Suplinskas and her fiancé Thomas Cannon, and two great-grandchildren, Clara Sweers and Hudson Sweers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Janet's Life Celebration to be held on Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 11:30 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, followed by burial in Saint Patrick Cemetery, North Broadway, Haverhill.
