Plaistow, N.H: Janet L. (Rossetti) Stewart, 71, a resident of Plaistow for the past 40 years, died peacefully at her home on July 15, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Salem, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Anthony and Phyllis (Williams) Rossetti, she was raised and educated in Haverhill, graduating Haverhill High School with the class of 1969. Employed at Lucent Technologies and later Raytheon as an assembler, she was a member of IBEW 1505 – the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
Janet enjoyed alpine skiing as a young woman, and also enjoyed planting flowers, cooking, riding her motorcycle, shopping with her friends, hosting family gatherings, and took pride in her home inside and out.
She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her son and daughter-in-law. Chad D. and Melissa Stewart, of Fairfax Station, Virginia, a grandson, Elijah T. Stewart, three brothers, David Rossetti, Dennis Rossetti, and Anthony "Tony" Rossetti III, three sisters, Susan Prue, Phyllis Dauwer, and Patricia Rossetti, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Douglas Rossetti and her sister Christine DeCelle.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours to be held on Sunday, July 24, 2022, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St, Plaistow, N.H. The funeral service will follow at 6:15 p.m. in the funeral home. A private burial service will take place on Monday.
