Kingston, NH: Janet A. (Wright) Sanborn, 79, passed away on July 9, 2018, at Exeter Hospital.

Born in Waltham, MA, daughter of the late Joseph and Theda (Pressey) Wright, Janet spent her early childhood in Waltham before the family moved to Reading, MA where she was a member of the Reading High School class of 1956. She then earned her teaching degree at Wheelock College .  Janet was a teacher at Newton Learning Center and Haverhill Baptist Church also Director at YCares for several years.

A member of the Newton Junction Baptist Church for twenty-five years, Janet loved crafting, needlework and quilting—you would always find her working on some type of craft.  She loved working with children and enjoyed taking an occasional drive to Hampton Beach with her husband Tom. She was a kind-hearted person who always had something nice to say .

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of sixty-one years, Thomas Sanborn; two sons, Nathan Thomas Sanborn of Portsmouth, NH and Andrew Peter Sanborn of Haverhill, MA; four daughters, Jeanne Lois Houle and her husband, John of Haverhill, MA, Bethany Faith Mansfield and her husband, Bill of Virginia Beach, Naomi Ruth Morin and her husband, Mark of Haverhill, MA and Rachel Joy Dolan and her partner, William Hill of Derry, NH, sisters-in-law, Virginia Hull, Carol D'urso and Claire Jones and forty grandchildren.  She was pre-deceased by a son, Daniel John Sanborn and her two brothers Richard Wright and his wife Gloria . Warren Wright and his wife Bonnie.

Relatives and friends may attend Janet's Life Celebration to be held on  Thurday July 26 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.
