Newton, NH: Jane E. Taylor, 73, a resident of the Town of Newton since 1960, died peacefully on November 5, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her loving and caring family.
Born in Haverhill, MA, daughter of the late John and Doris (Bruce) Taylor she attended Haverhill public schools. Following her move to Newton, she graduated Sanborn Seminary in Kingston with the Class of 1964. She later attended the Bryant McIntosh Business School.
Jane was employed for thirty-five years as an administrator in the Human Resources Department of Western Electric Co., AT&T Technologies and Lucent Technologies, until her retirement. She was a member of the Communication Workers of America, AFL/CIO Local # 1366, the Telephone Pioneers of America and the former Grace Methodist Church of Haverhill.
An avid reader, Jane enjoyed embroidering and spending her winters at her home in Clermont, Florida. She was devoted to her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three sisters, Bonnie Nolin, Donna Madore and her husband Ray, and Laurie King and her husband Anthony, all of Newton, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, an uncle and several cousins. She was predeceased by a brother–in-law, Charlie Nolin.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St. Plaistow. Her funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home with burial in Willow Grove Cemetery, Newton.
