Jane Roundy, 83, of Danville, NH, passed away peacefully at home on January 27, 2019. She was born in Beverly, MA, July 24, 1935 to the late Clay and Marjorie (Weaver) Parmenter.

Jane graduated from the Beverly Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. She also worked alongside her husband at their business, Yankee Tax Service. Jane raised her family in Ridgefield, CT, and Wilbraham, MA, before retiring to The Villages in Lady Lake, FL.

Jane enjoyed life's simple pleasures such as hummingbirds, peonies and crossword puzzles. Her true loves were her husband, David, and her family. David was the family's rock, keeping us strong and grounded. Jane was the family's cushion, a soft place to fall while propelling them forward to be the best version of themselves. Jane was always there with open arms and open heart. She was good at dispensing wisdom and making others feel loved. You could always expect a full stomach and an even fuller heart every time you saw her.

Jane was predeceased by the love of her life, David Roundy. They met when they were 14 years old and were happily married for 62 years. Her family includes her children Linda Lovell and her husband Phillip of Danville, NH, Gregory Roundy and his wife Diane of Rainbow City, AL, Deborah Van Dyke of Seabrook, NH, and Robert Roundy and his wife Donna of Agawam, MA, her sister Louise Rogers and her husband Dick of Melbourne, FL, her 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a private burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Merrimack Valley Hospice or charity of your choice.
