Amesbury, MA; Jane E. Bourque, 77, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at Port Healthcare Center, Newburyport, Massachusetts.

Born, raised, and educated in Haverhill, Massachusetts, she was the daughter to the late Raymond and Eleanor (Giles) Bourque. She was a graduate of Haverhill High School and went on to work for Western Electric and later Lucent Technologies until, her retirement.

Jane loved the peacefulness of being at the beach alongside the ocean. She was happy to have raised her boys on Plum Island, having called the island home for over thirty years, creating memories to last a lifetime. Jane also enjoyed vacationing with family and friends in the Caribbean, and trips to Rockport, Massachusetts, with her parents.  Above all, Jane adored her grandchildren, and always put those she cared for first.

Jane is sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two sons, Darren DesRoche of Amesbury, MA and Scott DesRoche of Newburyport, MA; three grandchildren, Emma, Joshua, and Sarah; her brother, Francis Bourque of Haverhill, MA and her sister, Carol Sibley both of Haverhill, MA. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by three brothers, Barry, Jay and Calvin Bourque; a sister, Simone Mooers, and daughter-in-law, Jean DesRoche.

A graveside service will be held in the family lot In St. Patrick's Cemetery on Saturday July 22, 2023, at 10 AM.
