Kingston: James "Jamie" Michael Keating, 44, of Kingston, NH, passed away peacefully at the Exeter Center Nursing Home on May 16, 2017. Born September 22, 1972, the son of Michael Keating and the late Constance Marie (Guastella) Keating of Lynn, MA, and Merrick, NY respectively. Jamie attended the Lighthouse School in Chelmsford, MA until he was 21 and volunteered part time filling sandwich bags, selflessly helping out where he could for the homeless and needy.
Jamie is survived by his father Michael Keating and his stepmom, Claire (Lopata) Keating of Kingston, NH, brothers John Harold Keating and his girlfriend Joanna of Derry, NH, Justin Lopata and his wife Amy of Haverhill, MA, and sisters Kathleen Meredith Keating and her boyfriend Billy of Manchester, NH, Kristin (Lopata) Martinello and husband Louis of Groveland, MA. Jamie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his Grandmothers Kathleen Keating of Fremont, NH, and Lucille Bogel of Danvers, MA. as well as his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Grandmother Kathleen was very close to Jamie, and made many trips to the Exeter Center Nursing Home to spend time, and catch up with Jamie over lunch. A huge fan of the Muppets, Jamie often laughed out loud at the antics of Gonzo, the Swedish Chef, and most of all his favorite; Elmo. Tied for first place was Jamie's appreciation for a good meal, especially if it concluded with apple pie!
