Kingston, NH: James E. Machado, 76, of Kingston died March 13, 2016 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House.
Born in Lawrence, MA, son of the late James and Mary (Grimley) Machado, he attended local schools and worked in the Woodworking Department of Western Electric Co, AT&T Technologies, and Lucent Technologies for over twenty years. Following his retirement, he was employed at Danville Market, which is now known as Mayo's Market. Mr. Machado enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by a son, James E. Machado, Jr. of Concord, NH, a daughter, Jeannie Novick, two step-sons, Darren Snow of Rochester, and Daniel Snow of Plaistow, two step-daughters, Carol Chaisson of Kingston, who was also his care giver, and Beth Dube of Stratham, a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Mary Machado of Andover, MA, two grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, March 30, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. His funeral service will follow at 6:15 p.m. in the funeral home.
