Haverhill: James M. Iuele, 71 a native and lifelong resident of Haverhill, died Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at his home with his  loving wife by his side.

The son of the late Anthony and Violet (Gallagher) Iuele, Jim attended Haverhill Public Schools and was a member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1967. He was employed for many years by local construction companies and retired as a foreman from Mirra Construction Co. of Georgetown.

Known as a man with a huge heart and a giving nature, Jim was an excellent cook and enjoyed trips to the beach and the White Mountains. An avid New England Patriots fan, he also enjoyed watching collegiate football.

He was predeceased by his daughter Staci (Iuele) Ferguson in October of 2019, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of thirteen years Betty-Gagne-Iuele, a son, J. Michael Iuele, Jr. of Plaistow, a step-daughter, Stacey (McFadden) Tarpy and her  husband Gregg, of Bradford, a brother and sister in-law, John and Sandy Iuele of Colorado, a sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and William Simmes of Sandown, NH, seven grandchildren, Jessica, Kailey, Anthony, Alek, Tess, Shea, and Megg, two great- grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by his sister Carol MacZuba in 2012.

There will be no services at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
