Obituary

Atkinson: James Michael Fournier 53, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Boston Medical Center after a brief illness.

Born January 8, 1969 in Fall River Massachusetts, son to Raymond and Joanne (Tarra) Fournier.  Raised and educated in Atkinson, he was a graduate of Timberlane High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from September 22, 1988 to June 28, 1995. James later worked as an independent contractor in Electrical Inspecting for many years.

James took great pride in helping his father with his handy man services for the elderly locally. He would help fellow neighbors and friends with anything they could together. As a homebody, James enjoyed various computer games and spending time with friends and family.

James is survived by loving parents, Raymond, and Joanne Fournier of Atkinson; his son, Stephen Fournier of Baltimore, MD; sister, Kimberly Taylor and her husband, Kris of Baldwinville, MA, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

James will be dearly missed.

Relatives and Friends are invited to James' Life Celebration to be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, from 11-am to 1:00pm at Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. Graveside services will follow in the family lot at 1:30pm at Saint James Cemetery in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
