Obituary

Haverhill – Jacqueline "Jackie" E. Killilea 85, lifelong resident of Haverhill, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Born June 13, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Alfreda (Cormier) Payette. She attended St. Joseph's School and Haverhill High School. Jackie started her working career in a Haverhill shoe factory, where she met her first husband Bill. After raising three children she worked for many years and retired from Western Electric/Lucent Technologies, and also worked for Raytheon for a period of time.

Jackie was an outgoing and giving person who enjoyed family gatherings, traveling, collecting antiques, and yard sales. Some of her fondest memories were the times spent traveling with her late husband Paul and her family. Some of her favorite trips were to Alaska, Fatima, Portugal, and Vatican City, Italy. Her faith was very important to her, having always looked forward to her annual pilgrimage to the holy shrines in Canada. Jackie was a life-long parishioner of All Saints Parish, and also a member of the Haverhill Women's Club.

Jackie is survived by her daughters, Kathy Bucuzzo of Los Angeles, CA and Cheryl Ferguson and her companion, Bill Joray of Hampstead, NH, and her son Steven Bucuzzo and his wife Lynn of Haverhill; four grandchildren, Amanda Bucuzzo, Ryan Ferguson and his wife Sabrina, Logan Ferguson and his fiancé Sean Conant, and Patrick Greenlay and his fiancé Monica Lewis; great grandchildren, Ryder, Maya, Annabelle, Carter, and Grayson; siblings, Arlene Cartier and Marilyn Daly of Haverhill, Marie O'Brien and her husband Wylie of Haverhill, Robert Payette and his wife Sandra of Groveland, Carol Wile and her husband Albert of Haverhill, and David Payette and his wife Dale of Kingston, NH; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. In addition to her parents, Jackie is predeceased by her late husband Paul Killilea, former husband William Bucuzzo, and brother Alfred Payette.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Hannah Duston Healthcare Center and Jackie's Primary Care Physician and friend Marcia Chatfield for their compassionate care.
