Kingston, NH: Jacqueline R. (Couture) Chase, 96 a former resident of Danville, died peacefully on June 2, 2022, at the All American Assisted Living in Kingston.
Born, raised and educated in Rochester, NH, daughter of the late Emilio and Corona (Cartier) Couture, she graduated from Spaulding High School with the Class of 1944 and later graduated from Somerville Hospital School of Nursing.
A Licensed Practical Nurse, Mrs. Chase worked most of her career as an obstetrics and gynecology nurse at the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, Beth Israel Hospital, Boston, Malden Hospital and Saugus General Hospital.
A former resident of Lynn, MA for forty-three years until moving to Danville in 1998, she was a member of Saint Anne's Parish of Hampstead. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who enjoyed maintaining a warm and loving home for her family. She enjoyed cooking, reading and caring for her indoor houseplants. She also enjoyed local trips with her family and traveling to Italy, California and Florida.
Predeceased in 2010 by her high school sweetheart and husband of sixty years, Harry M. Chase, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by a daughter and son-in-law Linda M. Chase Borrelli and her husband Vincenzo Borrelli of Danville, a son and daughter-in-law, Robert J. and Celeste Chase of Ponte Vedra, Florida, a brother Jacques Couture of Rochester, three grandchildren, Robb Chase and his wife Elisa of Florida, Caitlin Chase of Connecticut, and Davide Borrelli of Danville, and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Joseph Couture.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours to be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Masks are required for those attending. Her funeral will be held on Friday, June 10, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Saint Anne's Church, Emerson Avenue, Hampstead.
