Sandown, NH: Jack A. Lavoie, 58, a resident of Sandown since 1998, died at his home on Tuesday evening of natural causes.
Born in St. Rose, Province of Quebec, Canada, son of the late Adelard and Eva (Pare) Lavoie, he came to the United States at age 6, and settled in Lawrence, MA, where he attended St. Anne's School.
Mr. Lavoie worked as a warehouse and line technician for Gillette Corporation for twenty years. He was formerly a member of many bowling leagues and enjoyed trips to Mohegan Sun.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-one years, Joanne (Millett) Lavoie, a son Brandon J. Lavoie of Sandown, two daughters, Monique M. Lavoie and her fiancé Junior Torres of Haverhill, MA, and Chantal E. Lavoie of Sandown, two brothers, Paul Lavoie and his wife Jackie of Derry, and Julien Lavoie and his wife Betty Ann of Florida, five grandchildren, Jacob, Givany, Julien, Damitri, and Rosalynn, a brother-in-law, Ghislain Pinet of Salem, NH, sisters-in-law, Denise Lavoie of Salem, NH, Linda Millett, Debbie Millett, Donna Shackley and her husband Walter, and Sally Wilkens and her husband Tito, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Bertram Lavoie, his sister, Monique Pinet, and his brother-in-law, Paul Millett.
Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA. His funeral will begin on Monday at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill, MA.
