Plaistow, NH: Irene B. (Hibbard) Hall, 79, a resident of Plaistow since 1969, died Saturday evening, February 16, 2019 at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, MA, with her loving family by her side.

Born in North Adams, MA, and raised in Malden, she was the daughter of the late Foster and Jessie (Hill) Hibbard, and was a member of the Malden High School Class of 1957. She was employed as a legal secretary for Boston law firms and also worked for several years as the Secretary to the Dean of Bradford College.

An avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan, Mrs. Hall also enjoyed trips to Foxwoods and bird watching.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her loving and devoted husband of sixty years, Alton R. Hall, two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary A. and Laurie Hall of East Hampton, CT, and Douglas R. and Julie Hall of Plaistow, a daughter and son-in-law, Christina L. and Marvin Travers of Chester, a sister Gloria H. Lawler and her husband Norman of Ruskin, FL, six grandchildren, Jennifer (Hall) Dupre and her husband, Dave, Gary C. Hall, Steven L. Hall, Jacob R. Travers, Jordan L. Travers and Jessie E. Hall, a great-granddaughter, Brylee L. Dupre, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her calling hours and Life Celebration to be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will follow at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will take place in the spring in Belleville Cemetery, Newburyport.
