Salem, NH: Irene E. (Bedard) Landry, 89 of Atkinson, NH passed away on July 11, 2018 at Salem Haven Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Salem, NH.

Born in Uxbridge, MA daughter of the late Odilon and Rose (Daigle) Bedard, Irene grew up in Lawrence, MA and attended Sacred Hearts School. She began her working career at Shawsheen Mill, then at Western Electric, and lastly ITT Semiconductors where she was an assembler for 24 years. In 1988 she and her husband Donald moved to Atkinson, NH to be with family.

Irene enjoyed bowling, playing cards, particularly 45's, which she did every weekend at home with Donald, their son Kevin and his wife Lucy. She also enjoyed traveling. For more than ten years her and Donald went on a cruise every year visiting such places as Alaska, Russia, Hawaii, Italy, Holland, Gibraltar, and many times to the Caribbean.

Irene will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of seventy years, Donald F. Landry, sons Dennis R. Landry, Sr. and his wife Alice of Lawrence, MA, Kevin J. Landry and his wife Lucy of Atkinson, NH, and daughter Patricia A. Landry of Atkinson, brothers Robert and Richard Bedard, sisters Claire Habib and Pauline Golic, seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers Henri, and Albert, sisters Rita, Eva, and Doris, and grandson Eric.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Landry's Life Celebration to be held on Wednesday July 18, 2018 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home at 12:15 PM.
