Ilene P. (Jones) Booth, 95, a resident of Plaistow, NH, died on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the Wingate Residences of Haverhill, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late David F. Booth.

She was born in New Hampton, NH on March 11, 1930, and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Emma (Desfosses) Jones. Ilene was raised and educated in Bristol, NH and was a graduate of Bristol High School. She met David, her future husband, while attending high school. They married after David joined the Air Force and traveled to several different duty stations inside the United States, Japan, France and Spain. While living overseas, they travelled throughout Europe with their sons Roland and Jeffery.  Ilene was a skilled seamstress and was well known in the business for her slipcovers. Ilene was employed at the Home Center in Rye, NH for many years and then was self-employed until she retired. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and working in the yard. One of her greatest joys was going to the beach with her cousins and sisters. She spent hours walking on the beach shelling and looking for sand dollars. Ilene loved to spend time with family and was a devoted grandmother that supported her family however she could.

Ilene is survived by her sons Roland Booth and his wife Cathy of Plaistow, NH, and Jeffrey Booth and his wife Joan of Newfields, NH, her grandchildren Ryan, Corey, Tyler, Natasha, and David, and her great grandchildren Evelyn, Declan, Patrick, Persephone, Dorian, Ainsley, and Olivia.

She was sadly predeceased by her siblings Harry Jones, Frank Jones, Marjorie Irving, Esther Cargill, Verna Rutledge, Eva Woodard, Mary Stevens, and Peral Jones.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 5-7pm at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 118 Main St. Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service and interment will be held in Bristol, NH in the spring. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.
