Plaistow, NH: Helen A. (Vuytowecz) Robinson, 90, a resident of Plaistow for sixty-five years, died peacefully at her home on Saturday evening, September 12, 2020.
Born, raised and educated in Haverhill, MA, daughter of the late Karol and Nellie (Zigmund) Vuytowecz, she was a member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1948. She worked as the bookkeeper of her late husband's business, L. E. Robinson Die Co. and was a longtime member of Holy Angels Parish of Plaistow and the Haverhill Country Club.
A loving and devoted grandmother to her ten grandchildren and five great-grandchilden, she enjoyed attending all of their sporting events and was known to everyone as "Mimi". She was skilled at knitting and made afghans and Christmas stockings for all of her family. She was also an accomplished cook and baker and thoroughly enjoyed cooking for her large family and hosting the holiday dinners. She volunteered as a room mother when her children were in school and also served as a Den Mother for the local Cub Scout pack. She also enjoyed a good game of 45's and traveling and golfing with her late husband, Donald and their friends.
Predeceased in 2003 by her loving husband of fifty-one years, Donald F. Robinson, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Deborah M. Gilbert and her husband, Paul of New Gloucester, Maine and Beth Ann Robinson of Plaistow, three sons, Donald F. Robinson, II and his wife, Elizabeth of Wesley Chapel, FL, Mark A. Robinson of Plaistow and Matthew J. Robinson and his wife, Erin of Plaistow, a brother Charles Vuytowecz of Avon, MA, ten grandchildren, Trisha Robinson, Donald F. Robinson lll, Daniel Robinson, Brittany Gilbert, Ryan Gilbert, Eric Gilbert, Katherine (Robinson) Noel, Christopher Robinson, Stephanie Robinson and Lucas Robinson, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Stacia Robinson and Mary Gosselin, and a brother, John Vuytowecz.
Her Funeral Mass at Holy Angels Church of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish in Plaistow and burial in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Haverhill, will be private and under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH . The family requests that memorial donations be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN .
