Kingston, NH: Heather Ann (Biladeau) Decareau, 56, daughter of Barbara Blackwell and the late Eugene Biladeau was born on August 12 th , 1961 in Exeter, New Hampshire. She quietly departed this life, Sunday, May 27, 2018 at home in Kingston, NH.
Heather was educated in the Exeter school district and graduated Exeter High School with the Class of 1980. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Mark Decareau on July 18th, 1981. Together they were blessed with two children, Tanya Marie Decareau and Jason Matthew Decareau. She was a loving, dedicated, and passionate mother. She enjoyed snowmobiling with family and friends, and playing cribbage and backgammon.
Heather's professional career included working at Liberty Mutual Insurance, prior to becoming a small business co-owner of Asian Auto Services in Plaistow, NH and Diamond Peaks Motel and Country Store in Colebrook, NH.
Heather was an active member of her community and volunteered for numerous organizations and programs including: senior citizen lunches, recycling for the town of Kingston, and the Kingston school district. A former Girl Scout Leader, she was a member of Trinity Chapter #22 Order of the Eastern Star, the Exeter American Legion, the International Order of the Rainbow Girls, and Mary Mother of the Church of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish of Newton.
As a result of her generosity and compassionate nature, she was loved by many. Heather was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her husband, Mark Decareau, and children, Tanya Marie Decareau and significant other Robert Moorehead, and Jason Matthew Decareau and significant other Alison Rataj; and three grandchildren Jackson Robert Moorehead, Sophia Elizabeth Moorehead, and Brayden Moorehead. She will also be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her mother, Barbara Blackwell, and siblings: Mark Biladeau and significant other Michelle Tait, Alfred Biladeau and wife Julie, and Bonnie Biladeau and significant other Scott Harlow; sister-in-law, Lonnie Decareau, sister-in-law, Kathleen Holbrook and her husband George, brother-in-law Michael Decareau and his wife Elaine and sister-in-law Terry Donnelly and her husband Joseph; and nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. She will be missed by all. She was predeceased by her step-father Robert "Blackie" Blackwell, brother-in-law Arthur Decareau,III, sister-in-law Cynthia (Decareau) (Hobbs) Donovan and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arthur and Ann (Gunning) Decareau.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Heather's Life Celebration to be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main ST., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will begin on Thursday morning at 10:15 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 in Mary Mother of the Church of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish, 12 Amesbury Road, Newton, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Kingston.
