Tilton – Harry L. Johnston, 70, died Wednesday December 14, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born July 16, 1952 in Cambridge, MA; he was the son of the late Harry Johnston, and Alice (Cicero) DeCoste.

Harry had worked as a truck driver for Teamsters Local 170, and drove his final job for Trans Gas before retiring, and would talk about how he missed driving.

In his spare time he loved to go fishing. Before his illness he loved landscaping his yard, and putting up the Christmas lights. He was an avid Patriots fan, and loved muscle cars, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He will be sadly missed , and lovingly remembered by his wife Jo-Ann (Kersulis) Johnston of Tilton, NH; his children Jennifer Hagopian of Franklin, NH; Jarrett Johnston and fiancé Amanda Hackney of Derry, NH; and Paul Johnston of Attleboro, MA;  his sister Pauline Vargas of Nashua, NH, his grandchildren Aram, Jr., Brantley, and Skylar, and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit Wednesday December 21, 2022 from 4PM – 6 PM at the Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH.

A memorial service will follow at 6:15 in the chapel of the funeral home.
