Haverhill: Grace R. (Thibault) Martin, 80, a longtime resident of Haverhill, died peacefully on December 24, 2016, at Wingate at Haverhill, surrounded by her loving children.

Born and raised in Haverhill, daughter of the late Antonio and Virginia (Bean) Thibault, she attended local schools and was a member of All Saints Parish and the former Saint Joseph Parish. From 1969 until her retirement in 1986, she was employed as the manager of Styletrend Leather Co. in Haverhill.

Mrs. Martin moved to Florida in 1986 and enjoyed her retirement painting in oils, stitching, making slip covers and taking trips to the beach. She returned to reside in the Haverhill area in 2008.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by six sons, Richard D. Martin of Laconia, NH, Robert J. Martin of Leicester, Thomas A. Martin and his wife Patricia of Haverhill, John J. Martin of Sanford, Florida, William R. Martin of Haverhill and Frederick O. Martin and his wife Jennifer of Haverhill, two daughters, Donna M. Reid of Bradford, and Bonnie L. Martin of Haverhill, also fourteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by grandchildren Seth Martin and Amanda Reid, two brothers David Thibault and Jean Thibault and a sister Marie Thibault.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 5 to 7 p.m. at BERUBE- Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. Her funeral service will follow at 7:15 p.m. in the funeral home. A family burial service will take place at a later date in Center Cemetery, Sandown, NH . The family requests that memorial donations be made to Boston Children's Hospital 300 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA , or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN.
