Hampstead, NH: Gordon E. Pelletier, Jr, 69, of Hampstead, died November 14, 2016 at his home, following a long illness.

Born in Beverly, Massachusetts, son of the late Gordon E. and Frances (Henderson) Pelletier, he was raised and educated in Danvers, Atkinson, NH and Plaistow, NH and graduated from Haverhill High School with the Class of 1965.

Mr. Pelletier served as a Quartermaster and later Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, stationed aboard the USS Cochrane DDG21.
Following his honorable discharge from the service, he was employed for over thirty-five years as a foreman at the Keating Asphalt Co. of Dracut.

A member of Saint Anne's Parish of Hampstead, Mr. Pelletier was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and cherished the time he spent with his family. He also enjoyed fishing.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of forty-five years, Merriellen (DelGenio) Pelletier, a son Michael E. Pelletier of Hampstead, and his fiancé Melissa Stevens, a daughter Tiffanie M. Pelletier of Hampstead, and her fiancé Peter Wilson ll, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Alan R. "Rick" and Maryellen Pelletier of Plaistow, and Kevin P. and Jeanne Pelletier of Hudson, NH, a sister Donna Willerson of Wells, Maine, a brother-in-law, Paul Belfiore of Bradford, MA, two grandchildren, Brittany and Peter and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Karen Belfiore.

Relatives and friends are invited to Mr. Pelletier's Life Celebration to be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. His funeral service will follow at 7:15 P.M. in the funeral home. A private family burial service with Military Honors will be held on Friday in Holy Angels Cemetery, Plaistow.
