Gloria J. (Hagerman) Dodge, 85, a resident of Atkinson, NH passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at Greystone Farms in Salem, NH surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband, the late Douglas Dodge.
She was born in Presque Isle, ME on August 4, 1940, and was the daughter of the late Merle and Lena (Purrington) Hagerman. Gloria was raised and educated in Presque Isle, ME and was a graduate of Easton High School, Class of 1958. She attended the University of Maine in Presque Isle. Gloria came to the Atkinson area in 1978. She was in the banking industry for most of her working years and was employed in the mortgage department at the Plaistow CO-OP Bank. After her retirement she obtained her real estate license at the age of Seventy-two. Gloria worked with Coco, Early & Associates Inc., in real estate. She was a woman of strong faith. Gloria attended Atkinson Congregational Church for over forty years and was involved in all aspects of the church. She was a member of the Seacoast Republicans Women’s Club, the Atkinson Library and PEO. She enjoyed hiking, skiing, kayaking, gardening, reading, taking walks and serving her church and her community. She always took great pride in her appearance and loved shopping for the latest styles.
Gloria is survived by her children Kerry Dodge of Manchester, NH, Donna Pariseau and her husband Scott of Groveland, MA, and Sean Dodge and his wife Rebecca of Henniker, NH, her four grandchildren Michael McCarthy, David McCarthy and his wife Kelly, Ryan Dodge and Samuel Dodge, her two great grandchildren Olivia and Owen McCarthy. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11am at the Atkinson Congregational Church 101 Main St. Atkinson, NH. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kimball Library in Atkinson, NH.
