Gloria L. (Decesare) Boniface, 91, a resident of Peabody, MA died on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, MA surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late William Thumb.

She was born in Lynn, MA on September 23, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Romeo and Brigida (DeNardo) Decesare. Gloria was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School, Class of 1951. She was skilled in gemology. Gloria was employed as a jeweler and goldsmith at Long's Jewelers in Peabody for over 20 years until her retirement. She was a social butterfly, enjoying lunches and dinners out with her circle of friends. Gloria loved Florida, she took many trips with her late husband William, it was a place full of great memories. She was a parishioner of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish in Plaistow.

Gloria is survived by her son Paul Boniface and his wife Cindy of Plaistow, NH, her two grandchildren Anthony and Arianna Boniface, her nieces Paula Meere and Dolores French and her nephew James Moore.

She was sadly predeceased by the father of her children Peter Boniface Sr. and her son Peter Boniface Jr.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 4pm-7pm at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 10am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Plaistow.
