Geraldine L. (Legare) Goudreault, 90, a resident of Laconia, NH died on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at St. Francis Nursing Center in Laconia, NH surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert A. Goudreault Sr.

Geraldine was born in Haverhill, MA on June 7, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Emile and Alice (Brindle) Legare. Geraldine (Gerry) was raised and educated in Haverhill, MA and lived there through 2018. She was a graduate of St. James High School, Class of 1953. Gerry was a homemaker in every sense of the word. She was a loving and caring wife and mother. Gerry created a home full of tradition and memories. In her later years, after her children were raised she took a position as a waitress at Ralph's restaurant in Bradford. Gerry loved this job because it allowed her to continue caring for people and socializing. She was the most requested waitress on staff. Gerry enjoyed entertaining and hosting large family gatherings at her home. She was a skilled baker; she was known for her beautifully crafted cakes. Gerry was the light of the family and will be dearly missed.

Gerry is survived by her children Robert A. Goudreault Jr. and his wife Leesa of Laconia, NH, John G. Goudreault of Derry, NH, Sandra Kamins and her husband Paul of Maidstone, VT, and Janice Legare and her husband Frank of Holden, MA, her eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and her four sisters Nancy Evans, Emily Legare, Donna Partridge, and Diane Pare and her husband Tom.

She was predeceased by her brothers Richard Legare and Bobby Legare.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 10am – 12pm at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will follow at 12:15pm in the funeral Home Chapel. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill, MA.
