"Gerry" Dube, Jr.

Danville, NH: Gerald C. "Gerry" Dube, Jr., 58 a resident of Danville since 2014, died March 24, 2022, at Exeter Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born October 28, 1963 in Nashua, NH, son of the late Gerald and Janet (Mercier) Dube, he was educated in the Nashua school system. He was a resident of the Southern New Hampshire area for most of his life until settling in Danville eight years ago. Most recently, Gerry was working as the Maintenance Manager of Avise Properties of Londonderry, NH. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 34 of Plaistow and the Plaistow Fish and Game Club.
An accomplished carpenter, Gerry enjoyed building and repairing and built the first two homes that he raised his children in. As a younger man he enjoyed competing in motocross racing. He also enjoyed motorcycling, driving and maintaining his 2006 Mustang and firing off his potato gun. His favorite pastimes revolved around family and friends, hosting barbeques and cooking. He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, The Bruins and the New England Patriots and also enjoyed taking a chance on scratch tickets and local raffles.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Sharlene "Charlie" (McAllister) Dube, a son Ronny JR Dube of Kingston, two daughters, Colby-Jan Wolff and her husband William of Brentwood, and Lacee C. Dube and her fiancé Adam Goodwin of Sandown, step-son Ryan J. Gately of Haverhill, MA, step-daughter Stevi-Lynn Gately of Wilmington, MA, a brother John Dube and his wife Vicki of Pepperell, MA, a sister Robin Calaguiro, of Sweden, ME, a grand-daughter Thea L. Wolff, an uncle Ernest Mercier of Nashua, two aunts, Pauline Morello of Moultonborough, and Estelle Gibson of Lincoln City , OR, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law Fran Calaguiro.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at 10 a.m. in Sacred Hearts Church, South Main St., Bradford, MA. Donations in his name may be made to the The Cancer Center of Massachusetts General Hospital, 55 Fruit Street, Boston, MA. Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH.
