Danville, NH – Gerald "Jerry" G. Field, 79, a resident of Danville, former resident of Hampstead passed away peacefully at home on January 27th surrounded by family.
Born in Haverhill, Massachusetts a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Jerry grew up in Plaistow NH where he met the love of his life in the first grade, Patricia (Kenney) Field, by the third grade he had told her he was going to marry her. On January 3 rd 2022, they celebrated 60 years of marriage. A retired self-employed Painter and Wallpaper hanger with a talented and creative mind. Jerry was an avid woodworker who would spend hours in his shop pondering over which type of wood to use for his next wooden masterpiece. When not in his shop he enjoyed playing golf, grilling for family cookouts, and going out to breakfast.
Jerry will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Patricia (Kenney) Field, three daughters, Terri (Field) Lavoie and husband Ken Lavoie of Auburn, NH, Kim (Field) Jean and husband Joe Jean of Epping, NH and Mindy (Field) Potorski and husband Michael Potorski of Danville, NH. Four Grandchildren, Emilie (Lavoie) Riendeau, Jeremy Lavoie, Gerry Potorski and Hayden Potorski.
Jerry also leaves behind a sister, Karen Sue (Moulton) Dulong and brother Keith Moulton.
Jerry was pre-deceased by his father Gordon Henry Field and mother Audrey (Faxon) Woodbury.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Rockingham VNA Hospice.
Jerry's life will be celebrated daily by family and those that knew him. The family requests that memorial donations in Jerry's name be made to the Danville Fire Department Association.
