Sandown, NH: Gerald J. Bradley III, "Joe", 47, of Sandown, died on Monday August 3, 2020, at his home.
Born in Kittery, Maine, he was the son of Kathleen (Coyle) and the late Gerald Bradley, Jr. Joe was a graduate of Timberlane Regional High School, Class of 1991, and completed training at the New Hampshire Fire Academy in Concord. For many years he has been a firefighter at Pease Air Force Base.
Joe was an avid fisherman and would drop his line anywhere from local frozen lakes to the Atlantic Ocean. When not enjoying his favorite past time, he would hang out and play darts with friends in his garage, which he dubbed the "judgement free zone". Joe also liked tending to the little farm he had started on his property, complete with a chicken coop.
Joe will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of eleven years, Heather (Burke) Bradley, his step-daughters, whom he loved like they were his children, Megan Linehan of Dover, NH, and Emily Linehan of Sandown, NH, his sisters, Kristin Morse and her husband Stephen of Sunderland, MA, and Erika Cormier and her husband Brian of Westborough, MA, his step-brother Robert Patuto, Jr., his step-father, Robert Patuto, Sr., of Danville, NH, his grandmother Rita Coyle, his step-mother, Paula Bradley, as well as many uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces, and his Labrador Retrievers, Riley and Finn.
A Graveside Service will be held for Joe on Friday August 7, 2020, at 11:00 AM, in Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East St, Tewksbury, MA 01876. Please be aware that the Commonwealth of Massachusetts strongly recommends practicing social distancing and wearing a face covering at all times when in public.
