Danville, NH: George A. Tinkham, Jr., 76, died peacefully Thursday, October 4, 2018, at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, following a long illness.
Born, raised and educated in Hamilton, Massachusetts, son of the late George and Virginia (Hatt) Tinkham, he was employed as a carpenter for Rick Pierce of Boxford and also as a horse trainer for Mike Carter Stables.
Mr. Tinkham enjoyed country music, line dancing, woodworking, furniture building and working in his yard. He was devoted to his two dogs and had an interest in antique cars.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Marsha J. (Chapman) Tinkham, a step-son, Michael Gallant of Danville, a sister Henrietta, of Wenham, MA, a nephew Ronnie Grove and his wife Maryanne of Hampstead, NH, and grandchildren, Kaleigh Gallant and Gage Gallant.
Relatives and friends are invited to a reception and time of remembrance to be held at his late residence, 32 Wyman's Landing, Danville, on Sunday, October 7, 2018 from 12 to 4 p.m.
