East Hampstead, NH: George J. LeClair, 73, formerly of East Hampstead, died March 17, 2017 at Country Village Center in Lancaster, NH.

Born, raised and educated in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Mr. LeClair served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and later graduated from University of Massachusetts at Lowell. A tool and die maker he was employed at Raytheon and Kollsman Inc. until his retirement.

A resident of East Hampstead from 1977 until 2015, Mr. LeClair attended Saint Anne's Church in Hampstead and enjoyed playing The Lottery, collecting coins and traveling.

Predeceased by his wife Denise (Jerome) LeClair in 2010, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three daughters and sons-in-law, Tracey and Nick Davis of Scarborough, Maine, Melissa and Jeffrey Johnson of Northwood, NH, and Amanda and Corey Hunt of Whitefield, NH, a son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Abigail LeClair of Milton, MA, also eleven grandchildren.

Private visitation and services were held at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, Plaistow, NH. Private burial will take place in Lakeview Cemetery, Hampstead. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the George LeClair Fund, payable and addressed to Amanda Hunt, 64 Pine St., Whitefield NH, 03598.
