Haverhill – George V. Lambert, 65, passed away Wednesday April 17, 2024, at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill following a period of failing health.

Born April 5, 1959, in Haverhill, MA, he was the son of the late Edmond, Jr. and Ana Marie (Marquez) Lambert.

Mr. Lambert attended St. Joseph's school in Haverhill and graduated Whittier Vo-Tech, class of 1977. He joined the US Army and proudly became a member of the 82nd Airborne. In 1985 began a career with the United States Postal Service, working as a letter carrier and in maintenance. In his free time, George enjoyed outdoor activities including snowmobiling and camping, as well as woodworking, and reuniting with friends from the Army.

Members of his family include his wife Patricia M. (Clark) Lambert of Haverhill, MA; his children Mary E. Lambert and partner Nicole Dubois of Kittery, ME; and Steven T. Lambert and wife Crystal of Salem, NH; he also leaves three siblings and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday April 25, 2024, from 4PM – 7PM at the Berube –Comeau Funeral Home 47 Broadway in Haverhill. His funeral will be held on Friday, April 26 at 9 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in All Saints Church, Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill. The burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.

In leu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to cancer research.
