Gail R. Lafayette, 78, formally of Plaistow, NH passed away at Agawam South Rehab and Nursing on Saturday, May 3, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Malden, MA, the daughter of the late Jeremiah P. and Elsie (Richards) Reardon.

Gail was a 50 plus year resident of Plaistow, always calling New Hampshire her home. She was a 1964 graduate of Sanborn Seminary. Gail had a long career that spanned over 25 years as a telephone operator with New England Telephone.  She was an active member of the Timberlane Music Association and the First Baptist Church in Plaistow.

Always following sports, she was an avid fan of NASCAR and enjoyed cheering on her favorite drivers, Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Darrell Waltrip. Elvis and The Beatles were always at the top of her record collection when listening to music. Gail was an honorary member of "The Gallery Gods" of the Boston Bruins and could very well have been called Bobby Orr's biggest fan ever, if you know, you know.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Dale T. Lafayette Jr. and his wife Faith of Southwick, MA, and her grandchildren Nicholas, Molly and Nolan. She was predeceased by brothers Robert McLaughlin, Richard, Joseph, and Thomas Reardon, sisters Jean Clements and Geraldine Riecks. She leaves behind several nieces and nephews including Linda Jasper of Texas whom she held a sisterly bond.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours to be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 10am to 12pm at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. Interment and a graveside service will follow at Plaistow Cemetery at 12:15pm.
