North Andover, MA: Francis "Frank" Xavier Walsh, 84 years young, of North Andover, MA and formerly of Andover, MA, died peacefully on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at the High Pointe House, Haverhill, MA, surrounded by his wife and family.
Born in Patterson, NJ, one of five children to the late Martin A. and Agnes M. (O'Brien) Walsh, he grew up in Patterson, going to work at an early age with his brother, Bill, to support their mom. He served in the U. S. Army as a Specialist 4 th Class during the Korean War. He lived in Andover for fifty years with his wife, June, where they raised their three daughters. Frank worked for the Internal Revenue Service for forty-three years before retiring and was recently employed at the former Clark's Dodge. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, South Lawrence, MA.
He is survived by his loving wife, June (Mott) Walsh; three daughters, Patti Romanuk and her husband, Ken of Plaistow, NH, Mary Raymond of Plaistow, NH and Liz Radford of Haverhill, MA. He was predeceased by his grandson, Danny and leaves his six grandchildren, Nicole and Lori Romanuk, Andrew Raymond, Michael, Jonathan and Tiffany Radford and great-grandaughter, Paisley. He is also survived by two brothers, Martin Walsh and Charles Walsh and pre-deceased by a brother, William Walsh and a sister, Sr. Mary Walsh.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, July 19, 2018, from 6 to 8 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. His funeral will begin on Friday, July 20, 2018, at 9:45 AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11 AM in St. Patrick Church, South Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in Holy Angels Cemetery, Plaistow, NH.
