Obituary

Francis L. "Tiny" Reilly, 94 a former resident of Plaistow, died May 20, 2022 at Hannah Dustin Healthcare Center in Haverhill.

Born, raised and educated in East Boston, Massachusetts, son of the late James and Catherine (Waldron) Reilly, he graduated from East Boston High School with the Class of 1946. He was a resident of East Boston most of his life and was a member of Sacred Heart Parish, where he served as the Head Usher, and was also a member of the East Boston Council 15412 of the Knights of Columbus, and the East Boston
Lodge of the Sons of Italy in America.

Mr. Reilly also known as "Tiny" and "Franko" was employed for most of his working career as a warehouse supervisor for Jordan Marsh Co. and Macy's in their Boston and Quincy facilities until he retired.

A resident of Plaistow from 1997 until moving to Hannah Dustin in Haverhill, he enjoyed bowling and dancing, playing the Daily Numbers, and trips to Suffolk Downs, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.

Predeceased in 2009 by his beloved wife of fifty-three years, Barbara (Apice) Reilly, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three daughters, Karen Cremins and her husband Daniel of Northwood, NH, Patricia MacMillan and her longtime companion Felipe Canizales, of Revere, and Kimberly Lanceleve and her husband Douglas of Plaistow; six grandchildren Caitlin MacMillan, Michael MacMillan, Nicholas Canizales, Shawn Lanceleve, Matthew Lanceleve and Douglas Lanceleve; several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by ten brothers and sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 45 Brooks Street, East Boston, MA.  A private family burial service will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden at a later date.  The family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
