East Hampstead, NH: Frances L. (Chase) Dandurant, 83, died March 8, 2012 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House.



Born and raised in Haverhill, MA, daughter of the late LeRoy and Loretta (Russell) Chase, she attended local schools and was a 1946 graduate of Haverhill High School.A former resident of Atkinson, she moved to East Hampstead several years ago.



Throughout her career Mrs. Dandurant worked as a teller and bookkeeper and served as the Executive Secretary to the President of Pentucket Bank for many years until she retired in 1990.



A member of Holy Angels Church, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother she enjoyed traveling with her husband and cooking for her family.



She is survived by her loving husband Arnold J. Dandurant; one son and daughter-in-law John A. and Theresa Dandurant of Laguna Niguel, CA; two daughters and one son-in-law Sharon A. and Stephen Wooster of Atkinson and Debra Dandurant of Hampstead; one brother Frederick Chase of Haverhill; one sister Joan Langlois of Plaistow; three grandchildren Corrinne (Wooster) Fournier of Atkinson, Ryan Dandurant of Portsmouth and Tara (Dandurant) Graham of Derry; and one great grandchild Lillian Graham.She was predeceased by her brother Russell Chase and her sister Barbara Noone.



Relatives and friends may call on Monday, March 12, 2012 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH.Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Angels Church, 8 Atkinson Road, Plaistow, NH.Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery in Haverhill, MA.In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Mrs. Dandurant's name to Alzheimer's Association, 5 Bedford Farms Drive, Suite 201, Bedford, NH03110.
