Evelyn I. (Cronin) Osborne, 77, of Plaistow, NH, died at her home on Thursday, May 16, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Roger V. Osborne with whom she shared 55 years of marriage.

She was born in Lynn, MA on October 14, 1946 and was the daughter of the late James and Evelyn (Haynes) Cronin. Evelyn was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1964. A graduate of Lawrence General Nursing School, Evelyn worked for many years at various locations including Oxford Manor and Hampstead Hospital. She was the first nurse at Sarah's Place in Haverhill where she worked the final 14 years of her career, retiring to continue enjoying even more time with her family and particularly at the family camp in her kayak or watching the hummingbirds.

Besides her husband, Evelyn is survived by her children Scott V. Osborne and his wife Pamela (Stauffer) of Verona, NJ, and Brenda Sullivan and her husband Jamie of Alexandria, NH, her grandchildren Emily Osborne, Conner Sullivan and Brian Sullivan, her brother Dennis Cronin and his partner Judy Hickel, her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Ruth and Richard Hale, and her sister-in-law Darlene Osborne, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Evelyn was predeceased by her brother-in-law Ralph Osborne.

Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral service to be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 10am at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sarah's Place 180 Water St., Haverhill, MA.
