Obituary

Atkinson, NH:  Evelyn R. (Perkins) (Priest) (Pinder) Goldbaum, 86, a longtime resident of Atkinson and formerly of Kingston, NH, died on June 7, 2021 at Holy Family Hospital, Haverhill, MA.

Born in Parkman, ME, the daughter of the late Basil and Affre (Grant) Perkins, she was raised and educated in West Buxton, ME where she graduated from High School.  After attending a local Cosmetology School and relocating to NH, Evelyn was employed as a Hairdresser at  LaContessa Salon in Haverhill, MA and later purchased and operated the salon for forty-five years until her retirement .

She was passionately devoted to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed going to the beach, quilting and playing cards, especially 45's and whist.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of forty-five years, Richard E. Goldbaum; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Mary Pinder of Fremont, NH; three daughters, Roxanne (Priest) Hart of Newton, NH, Peggy Priest of Danville, NH and Pamela Pinder Montezuma of West Palm Beach, FL;  two step-sons and daughter-in-laws, Robert Goldbaum and Marjorie of Haverhill, MA and Stephen Goldbaum and Pamela of Lowell, MA; four brothers, Calvin "Jon" Perkins, Randall Perkins, Michael Perkins and Brian Perkins all of Maine; a sister, Patricia Cote of Maine; seven grandchildren, Harmony Leavitt, Travis Priest, Jolene Landers , Jade Labrada, Danielle Stone and Jennifer Picone, Jayme Legere, Benjamin Goldbaum; Three step-grandchildren; Laura, Becka & Sarah Goldbaum; eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by a son, Ronald Priest, Jr.; a step-daughter, Judy Goldbaum; grandson, John Pinder; two brothers, Theodore and Keith Perkins and two sisters, Joan Tibbetts and June Rowe.
