Haverhill: Evelyn A. (Noury) (Butruccio) Deschene, 97, and formerly of South Webster St., Bradford, died Monday evening, January 13, 2020 at Hannah Duston House in Haverhill.

Born and raised in Haverhill, daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Comeau) Noury, she attended Haverhill public schools and first worked as a coil winder at Western Electric Co. She was later employed at Burns and Towne Electronics and Semi-Conductor Circuits of Windham, NH and as a stitcher in the local garment factories.

A member of All Saints Parish of Haverhill and the former Saint Joseph Parish, Mrs. Deschene was a resident of Meredith, NH for twenty-three years before returning to Haverhill in 2004. She was an active member of Saint Charles Parish, and the 50+ Club and a volunteer for the Senior Citizens and the Meals on Wheels Program in Meredith. An avid Bingo player, Mrs. Deschene also enjoyed trips to Foxwoods.

Predeceased by her husband George Deschene in 2004, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Harry McKenna III, of Haverhill, a grand-daughter, Katie (McKenna) Bramhall and her husband Daniel of Methuen, two great- grandchildren, Colt and Hallie Bramhall, a son Michael Butruccio, a sister-in-law Barbara Noury of Bradford, several nieces and nephews, and special friends Ray and Carmen Hunt and their daughter Lisa, of Haverhill. She was predeceased by her brother Roland Noury.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday morning, January 17, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 11a.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. Her funeral service will follow at 11:15 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the ALS Association.
