Evan Thomas Ferguson, 40, of Worcester, died on Wednesday, July 19, 2017. Evan was born in Cheverly, MD on October 6, 1976, and was predeceased by his father Thomas J. Ferguson of Boxford, MA. He is survived by his mother Johanna (Mader) Ferguson of Newton, NH.
Evan was raised and educated in Boxford, MA, attended the Masconomet Regional High School, and graduated Class of 1995. Evan later attended Becker College in Worcester, and earned a degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant, and would then work at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton, MA., the Life Care Center in Auburn, NH., and several skilled nursing facilities in Massachusetts, where he was devoted to his elderly patients. Evan had several close friends in recovery. A caring person, Evan loved music, enjoyed playing guitar, was an avid reader, and worked out often.
He is survived by his mother Johanna (Mader) Ferguson of Newton, NH., his sister Kelly Anne (Ferguson) Lawrence of Portland, ME., and his paternal grandmother Florence Ferguson of Brighton, MA., uncle Vernon Mader of Tarpon Springs, FL., aunt Robin (Mader) Fulton and uncle Stan of Mesa, AZ., and uncle Donald Ferguson Jr. of Brighton, MA., as well as many cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to Evan's Memorial Service on Saturday August 19, 2017 at the Salemhaven Skilled Nursing Center, 23 Geremonty Drive, Salem NH., with a reception immediately following.
