Eva M. Viles, age 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood, NH. She was born in Salem, MA the daughter of the late Adelard and Josephine (Thibodeau) Jodoin.

Eva grew up and attended school in Salem and was employed at the Ivory System in Peabody for many years. She retired in the 1980's. She was the widow of Raymond G. Viles, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Among her past times, Eva enjoyed knitting, crocheting, needlepoint and dancing.

She was the youngest of fourteen children and was pre-deceased by several sisters and brothers. Eva is survived by her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sandra and Thomas Krajewski of Newton, NH. Several nieces and nephews also survive her.

Eva's family would like to thank Meghan, an RN and manager of the B2 Unit at Rockingham County Nursing Home and her staff, for the excellent care that they gave to Eva during her stay there.

Family and friends are invited to attend Eva's Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 9 - 10 AM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street (Rt. 121A), Plaistow, NH 03865. A brief funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 10 AM. Burial will take place at a later date.
