Danville, NH: Ethel A. (Gray) Demaine, 85, of Danville, died on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Colonial Poplin Nursing Home in Fremont, NH.

Born, raised, and educated in Haverhill, MA, daughter of the late Alexander and Harriet (Hurd) Gray, she graduated from Haverhill High School with the Class of 1946.

Mrs. Demaine worked as a solderer at local electronics companies, from which she retired. She also worked for Arbor Acres, Nichols Poultry, and Keezer Manufacturing Company. She was a member of East Hampstead Union Church.

In her younger years, Mrs. Demaine enjoyed bowling. She also liked gardening, knitting, and playing bingo.

She was predeceased by her husband, Randolph R. "Randy" Demaine, and is survived by her two sons, Bruce W. Demaine and his wife Linda of Weare, and Larry W. Demaine of Danville, her two daughters, Pamela G. Lease of Weare, and Terri L. Demaine of Danville, a brother, Donald Gray of Seabrook, a sister, Nancy McCullum of Highland, Md., and two grandchildren, Robert B. Demaine and his wife Richalie, and William E. Demaine.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday, January 20, 2014 from 1 to 2 p.m. at the East Hampstead Union Church, 225 East Main Street, East Hampstead. Her funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Church. Memorial donations may be made to the East Hampstead Union Church, P.O. Box 109, East Hampstead, NH 03826. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH.
