Haverhill: Estelle (Lemire) Bucuzzo, 93, a lifelong resident of Haverhill, died in Lowell on March 29, 2021 where she was being lovingly cared for by her devoted children. Born in Haverhill, daughter of the late William and Eva (Racette) Lemire, she wife of the late James M. Bucuzzo, who died in 1993.
She was a graduate of Saint James High School, Haverhill, and Simmons College, Boston, MA, Class of 1947. She was a Principal in the former JMB Machine & Tool Co., and in recent years, she was associated as an Office Manager with Elaine Barker of Paper Potpourri in Haverhill.
She was honored in the 1990 edition of Who's Who in Finance and Industry , and the 1991-1992 edition of Who's Who in American Women, 1991-1992 .
She leaves a beloved son, William P. Bucuzzo of Haverhill, and beloved daughters, Andrea Blackbird and her husband, Marc of Culver City, CA, Lisa Edo of Irvington, NY, and Laura Orfanedes of Lowell, MA. She also leaves a much-loved stepdaughter, Gloria Huntington of Amesbury, MA, and also eight beloved grandchildren, James, Katherine, and Michael Bucuzzo, Everly and Emmett Orfanedes, Ilan and Sigal Edo, and Maximilian Blackbird, and step-grandchild, Christian Dunbar. She is also survived by a nephew and several nieces. She was pre-deceased by her sister, Helen Everette.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, April 1, 2021, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, under the Commonwealth of Massachusetts guidelines for the wearing of masks and social distancing. Her funeral will begin on Monday, April 5, 2021 at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill.
