Plaistow, NH: Emile J. Baillargeon, 83, of Plaistow and formerly of Haverhill, MA and Methuen, MA, died on Monday, February 6, 2017, at his home.
Born and raised in Methuen, MA, son of the late Henry L. and Adeline F. (Salois) Baillargeon, he attended grammar school in Methuen and graduated from Lawrence Central Catholic High School, Lawrence, MA, with the Class of 1953. Mr. Baillargeon was a Carpenter and a member of the Carpenters and Joiners Union, Local 111 of Lawrence.
A member of All Saints Parish and the former St. Joseph Parish, he was an avid sports fan who loved the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, watching the horse races at Rockingham Park, going for walks in his old and new neighborhoods and most importantly spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Husband of the late Anna (Traina) Baillargeon, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three daughters and sons-in-law, Denise M. and Frank Stanewicz of Plaistow, Renee T. and Jeff Spencer of Danville and AnnMarie and John Byrnes of Hampstead; three grandchildren, Taylor Stanewicz, Adrianna Byrnes and Jacob Byrnes; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Emile's Life Celebration on Friday, February 10, 2017, from 4 to 8 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. His funeral will begin on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at 8 AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 9 AM in All Saints Parish, Haverhill, MA. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen, MA
