Atkinson, NH:  Eloise H. (Merrill) McNulty, 89, of Atkinson, NH died on March 8, 2018 at Holy Family Hospital at Merrimack Valley, Haverhill, MA.

Born in Ludlow, VT, the daughter of the late Eben and Clara (Smith) Merrill, she was raised and educated in Ludlow, VT.  She attended Black River High School, graduating with the Class of 1946, and the University of Vermont.  Primarily a housewife and homemaker, she was a member of D.A.R., the Ludlow VT Chapter.

Mrs. McNulty enjoyed traveling, reading, sewing and quilting.

She is the widow of the late James C. McNulty who died in 2006.  She is survived by two sons, James M. McNulty of Tangerine, FL and John E. McNulty of Atkinson, NH; a daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Gerald Tofferi of N. Clarendon, VT; a brother, Edwin Merrill of Ludlow, VT; four grandchildren, Larry Kelley, Christopher Kelley, Gerald Tofferi and Jessica Vandergrif and four great grandchildren.  She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Julie McNulty.

There will be no calling hours.  A graveside service will be held in the spring at Hillcrest Cemetery, Proctorsville, VT.  Arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.
