Elizabeth R. (DiGuilio) Golas, 94, a resident of Plaistow, NH, died on June 23, 2025 at High Pointe Hospice in Haverhill, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Thaddeus J. Golas who passed away in 1966.

She was born in Haverhill, MA on and was the daughter of the late Charles and Antonia DiGuilio. Elizabeth was raised and educated in Haverhill, MA and was a graduate of Haverhill High School. Over her years, Elizabeth had many jobs. She eventually took a position through the city of Haverhill at the former Hale Hospital in the business office, working here until her retirement. Elizabeth loved to travel with her friends near and far. They traveled to London, Germany, and Alaska. She had a great passion for food, especially sweets. In her later years, she enjoyed sitting outside watching the wildlife with her dog Jasper.

She is survived by her children Cynthia Seligowski, Richard Golas, Sharon Golas, and Robert Golas, her grandchildren Antonia Seligowski, Thaddeaus Golas, Katrina Golas, Braden Golas and Kyle Golas, and her niece Karen Zingarelli. She also leaves behind several cousins.

Elizabeth was sadly predeceased by her sister Nancy Povlovski.

Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 10:30am at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main St. Plaistow. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery, Haverhill, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund at give.kidneyfund.org.
