East Hampstead: Edward T. Steinbauer, 65, a resident of East Hampstead for the past twenty years, died May 14, 2015, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House.

Born in Hoboken, NJ, son of the late Edward F. and Helen (Presto) Steinbauer, he was raised and educated in Franklin Lakes NJ and graduated from Ramapo High School with the Class of 1968.

A graduate of Bentley College in 1972, Mr. Steinbauer was an accountant and owned and operated S. Greene & Co. for the past twenty five years. He attended Saint Anne's Church in Hampstead and was a former resident of Haverhill, MA.

An avid New York Yankees fan he also enjoyed skiing, gardening, cooking and traveling.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of twenty-five years, Susan E. Greene-Steinbauer, a daughter Johanna L. Steinbauer of East Hampstead, a daughter and son-in-law, Julie E. and Daniel Lamkin of North Andover, MA, two sisters, Linda Lapinski of Jonesport, Maine and Edith Schaedler of Ringwood, NY, a grand-daughter Alexandra Lamkin and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Calling Hours to be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11a.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to The Cancer Center of the Lahey Clinic, 41 Mall Road, Burlington, MA.
