Obituary

Haverhill: Edward R. Perreault, a resident of Haverhill for most of his life, and a former resident of Newton, NH, died peacefully on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Saint Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton.

Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Irene (Perreault) Alvanos and James Alvanos. He attended Haverhill Public Schools and was a member of the Haverhill Trade School Class of 1951. Mr. Perreault served honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and was a recipient of The National Defense Service Medal, The Korean Service Medal, The Navy Occupation Service Medal, The United Nations Service Medal and the China Service Medal.

Mr. Perreault was employed for many years as an auto mechanic and Service Manager at several local car dealerships. He also owned and operated Photos by Perreault in the Haverhill area, specializing in wedding photography for hundreds of local brides over the years. Mr. Perreault enjoyed researching genealogy and taking care of his beloved dog "Bella".

Predeceased in 2016 by his devoted wife of thirty-seven years, Barbara (Blaisdell) Perreault, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his son and daughter-in-law, Alan E. and Tennille Perreault, of St. Augustine, Florida, a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia Perreault-Micale and Michael Micale of Winchester, MA, a step-son Bruce Bisson and his wife Martha of West Newbury, three step-daughters, Maureen Bisson of Newton, NH, Marie (Bisson) Johnson and her husband Steven of Raymond, NH and, Cynthia (Bisson) Laroche and her husband Kevin of Nashua, NH, eleven grandchildren, Ranon, Sophia, Tiyana, Joshwa, Eric, Kevin, Amanda, Christopher, Cassie, Michelle, and Bradley, several great grandchildren, his former wife Marlan Perreault of Haverhill, and aunts and cousins.

All are welcome to attend Edward's Funeral Service to be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill and his burial with military honors to follow in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
