Edward J. Dooley, age 77, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023 at the West Roxbury VA Medical Center in Boston.

He was born in Everett, MA on September 1, 1946 and was the son of the late Edward and Angela (Ferrara) Dooley.

Edward was raised in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School. He proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Air Force. Edward had a lot of friends. He enjoyed visiting and keeping in touch with his social circle on a regular basis. Edward was a good man and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his son-in-law Patrick Bedard of Fremont and his children Brandon Bedard and Krissa Bedard, his sister Susan Micheson of Atkinson, and several nieces and nephews.

Edward was sadly predeceased by his sisters Marie Starble, Sally Vaughn and her husband Joseph and Kathy St. John and her husband Wally.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 6pm in the chapel at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at st.jude.org.
