Danville, NH: Douglas B. Rouleau, Sr., 73, died peacefully in his home in Danville on Wednesday July 31, 2019.

Born in Merrimac Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Clarence and Barbara (Collins) Rouleau. A self-made man, Doug started 'Doug Rouleau Construction' in 1985 which he made very successful. He was well liked and respected by his peers for his knowledge and skilled craftsmanship.

Doug was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Devoted to his family, he was always spending time with them. Whether it was visiting his son in Maine or having lunch with his daughters,Doug loved his family above all else. He especially loved activities with his grandchildren like fishing, tinkering with his tractor, or watching them play sports.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of forty-four years, Sandra (Richey) Rouleau of Danville, son Douglas Rouleau Jr. and his wife Laura of LaGrange, ME, daughters Leona Senter of Plaistow, NH, and Stacy Langlois and her husband Matt of Danville, NH, brothers Wayne Rouleau and his wife Cathy of Derry, NH, Mark Rouleau and his wife Debra of Florida, sisters Dona Sprague of Barrington, NH, and Linda Rheaume and her husband Richard of Plaistow, NH, grandchildren Christopher, Mark, John, Victoria, Jessica, Donato, Courtney, Brianna, Cody, Seth, Lillian, Bryce, Niko, Brooke, three great grandchildren, many nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, uncles and aunts. He was predeceased by his two sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mr. Rouleau's Life Celebration to be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116, Main St., Plaistow, NH. His funeral service to follow at 7:15 p.m. in the funeral home.
