Sandown: Douglas R. Kimball, 26, of Sandown and Hampstead, died Saturday, March 14, 2015.
Born in Methuen, MA, son of Rand R. and Kim M. (Daigle) Kimball, he attended Sandown Central School and graduated from Timberlane Regional High School in 2007, where he was a member of the Varsity football team. Douglas received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in exercise science from the University of New Hampshire in December of 2014.
A Certified First Responder and a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine, Doug was presently working as a health educator and personal trainer at Derry Medical Fitness Center for the past eighteen months and had previously been employed at Hampstead Health and Fitness. Doug also works as a coach within the HMR Program for Weight Management at Derry Medical Wellness Center.
An avid New England Patriots fan, Doug enjoyed body building, fishing, music and driving and maintaining his 2003 Mustang Cobra SVT. He most enjoyed the simple times that he spent with his family, girlfriend or friends, whether it was cooking, watching sports or just spending the day at home.
He is survived by his parents Rand R. and Kim M. (Daigle) Kimball of Sandown, his sister Rachel M. Kimball of Sandown, his maternal grandmother, Pauline (Dumont) Daigle, his girlfriend, Jennifer L. Upton of Rowley, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues.
Relatives and friends are invited to Doug's Life Celebration to be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.
