Plaistow, NH: Dorothy Dell (Treadwell) Sainsbury 90, passed on Sunday, March 3, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was a resident of Plaistow, NH for over fifty years. Dorothy "Dot" was the daughter to the late Samuel Grady and Josie (Brown) Treadwell and was born in Waynesboro, Tennessee on October 15, 1931.

Dorothy was preceded by all her siblings, two brothers; Jim Treadwell and Tom Treadwell; three sisters, Faye T. Delk, Chaleen T. Hagenbuch, Sarah T. Current; and a son, David Steven Sainsbury. She is survived by three sons, Martin and his wife, Dr. Cynthia Riedel Sainsbury of Bethel Park, PA, Sam Sainsbury of Plaistow, NH, Jonathan Sainsbury of East Hartford, CT; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Dot grew up in Wayne County, Tennessee and never lost her beautiful southern accent. She was a graduate of Austin Peay State University, Clarksville, Tennessee and retired from the Epping School District as an elementary school teacher and she was a member of the Haverhill Church of the Nazarene. She had a passion for gardening, arranging flowers and teaching.
